That's why doors open the way they do on every car BUT a Lamborghini.

But, major props to the guy for actually doing it.

 

Looks like he spent some good money on those doors and system. The Lambo doors are starting to grow on me a little. They look way better on verts. I wonder how much wieght the swtup for the doors add?

 

You're right they don't look that good on that car but its completely stock. I think if it was a highly modded, lowered, Fbody with some Rims it might not look so out of place. I wouldn't mind having them if they really helped in cramped parking lots. I go to a university and there are a bunch of young punks that park right on the lines so you have to do everything in your power to keep from bumping your door on the next car, and then my feet always rub my TA door panels.

 

I'm 99.3% sure that even with most kits, you still most open the door then lift up so it really wont mean squat in a tight jam. Most kits you can get in and out of without lifting the door up. Just for looks. The day I get into the 10's I'll get them

 

He had to cut the fender where it leads to the mirrors. That looks like ****, its why I have always said lambo doors won't work on Camaro's. I have seen them done on Firebirds and they look decent, at least with Firebirds you don't have to chop the fender up.

i can remember last summer i was out cruisin with my buddy in his 68 cutlass. A guy pulled up in an s10, and told us we should get some lambo doors, as he showed us his in traffic. We both just laughed at him.

i was looking to get lambos for my car cause my friend has them on his 03 Tiburon GT v6 and they look real good..but from what i have researched its extremly hard to make them work on our cars

 

Its an unusual way to make your ride different. I've seen the web site of the company that sells those kits (lambodoors.com??) and they have pix of several different kinds of cars with that kind of door treatment. Some of them look cool. With that said, I would never do it to my car. I think it would destroy the vehicle's present and future value.
