WTB: LT1 Block
Re: WTB: LT1 Block
I plan on puttin all my parts..Heads, Cam, headers etc on a new block..so Im not constintly adding parts in a cramed engine bay...so when it's done all i need to do is swap motors...just a sort of logic....how much you want for it?
Re: WTB: LT1 Block
i will let it go for 150.00 '96 block, my '95 block is at the machine shop now getting hottanked and checked 250.00 either block will come with machine shop bill..i am sure the shipping will not be more than 60.00 via truck
Re: WTB: LT1 Block
I have a freshly machined LT1 block with only 100 street miles on it. Here's what's done to it:
- Hot tanked
- Decked .005 in the hole
- Bored .030 over
- Honed
- Align bored and honed with Pro-Gram four-bolt caps
- Clearanced for a 3.75-inch crank
All machine was done by Race Prep (www.race-prep.com). I'm selling it because I built a new 383, only to decide to part my car out 100 miles later. I'm in Austin and would like to get it out of my garage ASAP. Between the four-bolt conversion, the machine work, and the price of a core block, I have over $1,000 into this setup.
I'm looking to get $600 obo
