Press release Source: PRS Guitars PRS Guitars is pleased to announce their partnership with General Motors and Corvette Racing will continue through the 2006 season.
Scott,
Somebody from GM needs to get in touch with Paul Reed Smith POSTHASTE and have a Camaro Concept guitar built.
They already do a Z06 guitar.

BTW - this is a great partnership for GM. PRS has a positively unsurpassed reputation in their industry - they are a true benchmark. Furthermore, Camaro and Rock and Roll go together like fire and napalm.
Sorry to word the above so strongly. Boy, I just think it would be WAAAAAAY cool.

the kid in me just can't resist an Operation:Mindcrime spec M-II ;)
RedLT4Mike 01-20-2006, 03:46 AM I own one of the non-cheapie PRS models.
I would but a Camaro PRS for sure!
The Z06/corvette ones are HOTTT!!

Verily I say unto you that the Book of Mindcrime containeth many truths, and of the riffs of "Operation Mindcrime", many I have studied and learned by rote.
Should thee wish to truly follow the old ways, then you must also invest in thine own "Rack of Doom", much like I, a humble servant of all things shred, did back when hair and good guitar playing were pleasing to the world.
But now the world is evil... and terrible blasphemers call themselves guitar players whilst not knowing the ways of shred and playing but three power chords over and over through Pro Tools and using the unholy "cut and paste" to correct their errors...
Dark, dark days...
Keep the faith.
Shred shall return.

Ah yes...
A fine holy implement of the word...
I must warn thee:
Only heathens purchase their holy implements of the word with the abomination known as the "Licensed Floyd Rose", brother. The truly faithful can only show their purity with the "Original Floyd Rose" due to the presence of the holy hardened knife edge pivots, which weareth not.

NEGATIVE.
Real electric guitars are made in America, and unless it's custom shop from those two (or Jackson USA... sometimes...), those are Korean. Meaning Samick with a different logo on them.
:yuck: :barf:
91Z28350 01-20-2006, 11:44 AM Yes, yes my friend, and ESP's are made in Japan for the good ones and Korea or India for the LTD models. But, having said that, I ONLY own or have owned USA custom shop models (Jackson Custom Concert Bass, BC Rich ST-III Bass, Warlock Supreme Bass (Nikki Sixx model), "Bich Bass Supreme (with Kahler Bass Tremolo)", Eagle Bass Supreme-alas all in the past) and now a custom shop Rico Jr. Alias bass.

ESP had/has a custom shop in Seattle.

Well then, we won't have to burn you at the stake.

Easy killer, I sold that guitar and bought a PRS. Nolo contendere prima facie.
I then sold the PRS and bought a Heritage. Nolo contendere prima facie part deux.
91Z28350 01-20-2006, 11:57 AM So you like the PRS better than, say a Les Paul Custom? (My favorite all time six string)

Play a Heritage H-150 or H-157 and you won't use that Gibson for a doorstop.
Heritage > PRS > Chinese water torture > Gibson
turbo96z28 01-20-2006, 12:55 PM and the Lord saieth on the 7th day, "Let there be shred." and it was good

turbo96z28 01-20-2006, 05:23 PM very nice James. i got a Fender P-Bass i use mostly for practice.
as for the gunslinger, found it on ebay and am now locked in a death match for. i had an NJ Warlock awhile back and always loved how fast the neck was, started looking around and found that. i will win :)
my line-up is a little light right now. Fender Fat-Strat, Les Paul, Tele, Standard Strat, and an early 80s Charvel Randy Rhodes V i got a few years ago for $100 with an Original Floyd Rose (hows that Pacer), humbucker/single rail with a 5 way switch. i can get some nice sound out of that thing :D
91Z28350 01-20-2006, 06:12 PM Wow, nice rig bro. And nice find on that Charvel!
