Poll: If you like the concept - Which gen is your favorite?

Just a little poll to see of the people that like the concept, what generation of Camaro is your favorite before the concept of course.

I like it and my favorite is a 3rd Gen.

Maybe this can discredit or credit rumors that certain gen people don't like it - or that it's all 1st gen fans, etc etc etc...

i have a favorite from every gen, but 67-68s will always be at the top of the list.

i've owned an 88 Firebird (sold), 86 Z28 (still have it), 93 Z28 (hit head on by a 17 year old not paying attention), and my 96 Z28.

Having owned three of the four gens, I'm partial to the early 2nd gens and the 4th gen. That said, I love the concept, and can't wait to own one.

Uhh Camaros! Don't have a favorite it's too hard to pick. I do like the 69's a lot tho. Hmmm tough choice!

2nd Gen is my all time fav (would have liked to get an earlier RS/SS split bumper, but I'm happy with what I have).

2nd Gen wins by a hair with 1st Gen taking the silver medal.

i like all camaro years!
'67-'69 true muscle car era awesome styling for the time
'70-'73 love the split bumper
'74-'77 under powered but still a nice ride good handling
'78-81 looking more stylish with the new bumper covers
'82-'84 getting more streamlined, much better handling
'85-'92 hello IROC-Z /Z-28 the style the added power, this cool looking intake that made you wonder,16'' wheels, the absolute pinnicle of a touring car you put an iroc into a turn and you are through it with little effort, this car will command respect at any road course.'90 being the last IROC-Z year great overall cant beleive dodge won a factory class with a converted rear wheel drive car that was not offered to the public with a v8,we all know the IROC-Z is still the champion.'91-'92 what can i say the new aero package is awesome it was definately the new look of an old body style i called it the" sexual orgasm"the look was well refined!the power of this car was sweet, minimal amount of mods you would run mid to low 13s at sea level, leave the track and hit the curves and never mis a beat!
'93-'97 when the 4th gen came out it took us some to get used to the "geo storm on steroids"look it was sooo different,i now know how the '67-'69 guys fealt about the '70, way different.i did a cam and head & y-pipe swap with a stall for a neighbor back in late '92(car had 36miles on it)went to the track with it and the "storm on steroids"ran 12.30 on m&h racemasters very nice upgrade from L.P.E. i was still way comfortable with my 3rd gen to jump into the 4th however now i have 2 4th gens and 1 3rd gen a love that never fades.
'98-'02 i did not like the big grille on a streamlined car at first, went for a ride and it did feel good, more smooth acceleration than the lt1 but essentially the same car!it is such a shame, chevrolet stopped every time they were getting to the top just to start something new!
SSR what a joke!
GTO what ever!
all these damn SUVs
BRING THE HP BACK HOME!
sorry guys i go off into tangents at times when i think of chevrolet dicontinuing one of the cars that got them where they are today!

I can't vote.
I love the concept.
I can't pick a favorite generation, there's not one that I don't like.
I like them all alot in ceratin ways.

My all-time favorite Camaro is the 1970 one, so I voted 2nd gen. I like 1985 IROC-Zs too though, so 3rd gen Camaros probably rank second. I like 1st gen Camaros (and Trans Ams), but not nearly as much as 2nd gens. I guess my age is a factor in that (I'm 38).

.....My all-time favorite Firebird (other than my current 4th gen) is the 1977 one (Bandit, 'natch). :)

2nd gen definately. My first car was a 71 so I may be a bit biased.

Im split between the 1st gen, and the 70-73 2nd gens. The 74-81 cars do very little for me, excepting the 79-81 Z/28.

Love the new concept and 3rd gens are my favorite era of the Camaro . I like all gens of the Camaro though with the exception being the mid to late 2nd gens . I only liked 70-73 in the 2nd gens .

I must be odd. I like the styling of the 2nd gens.

3rd gen is pretty nice, but I never quite got into the front fascia. I'd have to say overall, their about equal with the 2nd gen just edging out the others.

I like the late 3rd gen(91&92) models and the early 4th gen (93-97) models.

I voted 2nd gen mostly because that was my first and only Camaro and I have fond memories of that car. Next favorite is the 1st gen (67 and 68, not so much 69), then 3rd gen. I like the concept too. I'd by the 5th gen.

1st gens are my favorites, '68 to be exact, but like turbo, I have a fav from each gen.:)
My first car was a 1st gen, and my dad's first new car was a '68 SS 396/325.
That said, I loved the '78 Z28's when they came out, and then fell hard for the '85 IROC's the first time I saw one. The 4th gens didn't get to me until the last redesign, but then they were awsome.
I'm hoping the next redesign will have a little more modern reflection of ALL generations as the C6 does.
