Hey all,
I drove 1000 miles on Saturday to see the concept, and my girlfriend had to pry me away from it as I kept being "drawn" back to the display. :D Anyway, I listened to the presenters speeches-and noticed that, when asked by a member of the public, the first two stated that if the person liked the car, they could go to Chevy.com and "tell GM to build it". Near the end of the day, the last presenter (a female) said, when asked, that if GM was shown enough interest, the car would possibly be fast-tracked and start production in "about 18 months". Now, I know the presenters were just models hired to talk about the car, but why would the first two say nothing, but the third then say "possibly fast-tracked"-unless she was told to say that?
