I have a 95 z28 without traction control. The pcm still has an input for tcs and the torque management in the ignition tables.
I have read about how to wire this up, and have had people confirm it works. My question is which table to use in LT1 edit?
There is "Abuse Mode Retard" on the main ignition page, but right next to it is a button that says "Traction Control Retard" That opens a table where you can input retard levels per every 400 rpms.
I plan on running one of my relays so that it grounds the traction control enable pin/wire on the pcm whenever the system is armed. Do I just put one overall value in the abuse value or do I specify values based in the retard vs rpm table?
If in the rpm based table, wouldn't I pull more timing down low? Ie for my 150 shot I pull 7 degrees at 3k and back down to 4 degrees retard @ 6k?
Thanks, I will also give Brian a call and see what he thinks of this method.
