gm motive gears howl??

My car howls on the Deceleration only. Is this the carrier? Ring and pinion? I bought the car with the 373's , and it has done this for a while. Don't know if it did it when installed. Thanks,

It is common for after market gears to howl but I don't know about gm gears.

I have GM Motive 3:73's and they don't howl. I've heard Richmonds howl a little bit, but they didn't when I had them either. You may want to take the rear end cover off and inspect the gears. They may need re-shimmed.
