Black out the headlights (ie hide aways)

I think most people agree that a hideaway black grill looks better on a first gen then two monster silver headlights.
On that note here's what I think GM should do. Black out the headlights to match the redesigned front grill(oh you will redesign the grill GM you will) *shakes fist* lol)
Not with those stupid covers that people buy now but with one way glass/plastic. That saves them from having to install motors that fail.
From the outside it's dark and makes the whole grill a solid black, but it doesn't dim the light output.
Think downtown skyscrapers. They look black from the outside, but people in can see out just fine.

I would vote they need to leave it alone. Those "silver circles" you reference are actually the halo headlights or "angel eyes" you see on the BMW 5 series cars. They're wicked cool if you ask me. They look pure evil when lit up at night.

Gotta disagree with the hideaways.

I think the car looks meaner without them.

My mom even thought the car looked good (showed her a video I shot and the press kit).

Look at KrisH's redesign of the grill and darkened lights and tell me it doesn't look 100x better then the real concept.

Hideaways MUST be an option.

MUST.

/Takes a look... it doesn't look 100x better than the real concept.
IMO the hideaways just don't belong. I feel it detracts from the car.

Make it part of an RS option like it was on first gens but do NOT make the RS option only available with v6's like in the recent past!

I always liked the hideaway look much better. It certainly isnt a deal breaker if it didnt change from how it is, but I want it, I want mean looking.
