Photochop of RS style grill (not my work)95 z28 noob 01-09-2006, 04:21 PM http://s92328089.onlinehome.us/cool.bmp Darth Xed 01-09-2006, 04:22 PM That actually helps........ a lot !!! :thumb: the_one_and_only 01-09-2006, 04:23 PM i like it personally 95 z28 noob 01-09-2006, 04:27 PM I agree, I like this grill idea alot more than what they have on there now. Hopefully GM is looking at changing the grill if it ever goes into production. The hocky stick stripe even looks good on there now. :) jawzforlife 01-09-2006, 04:31 PM I like that alot better, the hoizontal line son the lights work, better then the round lamps Ray86IROC 01-09-2006, 04:32 PM I think you could come very close to this look even if the production car mimicks the concept, w/ just add on grill and either replacement lights or covers you're there. And the grill at least, and maybe the lights should be pretty easy to swap out. I'm pretty pumped, I think having the grill and the general shape the concept goes with leaves alot of room for customization if the aftermarket will make the stuff, I think enthusiasts like us will have some great options there... Which is one area the recent 2 generation of Camaros have lacked in, the front designs were more or less set in stone due to their shape and design. Here with the big grill there is a lot to tweak and make it your own. Oh BTW I also like the current grill pretty well, just saying it leaves options open... jg95z28 01-09-2006, 04:33 PM That makes it look way more retro than it is. I actually like the current grill. Its one of my favorite parts on the car. graham 01-09-2006, 04:42 PM Oh damn.... pickardracing 01-09-2006, 04:48 PM Makes it 100000X better, IMO. gmanss 01-09-2006, 04:49 PM looks nice POWERFREAK 01-09-2006, 05:16 PM love it! saroyan689 01-09-2006, 05:19 PM Me Likey, Likey!!!:) :) number77 01-09-2006, 05:20 PM put the Z/28 in there instead of SS lbrowne 01-09-2006, 05:21 PM You cna bet your bottom dollar that if the end design comes out much like the concept, there'll be aftermarket add ons for headlight covers to give that effect, and maybe even grille replacements. Chevy give us the foundation, let us make it ours ;) MotorCityAgent 01-09-2006, 05:37 PM Wow! Much better. Brandon_Lutz 01-09-2006, 06:10 PM Love it. Make it an RS option!!! NikiVee 01-09-2006, 06:21 PM I showed my wife the concept pictures. Here comments were that she would like the car better if they changed the frontend. She said the front end reminded her of the Chevy Impala! amean94ta 01-09-2006, 06:29 PM love that grill curtg21 01-09-2006, 06:34 PM love it! i'm thinkin that if they do build this concept. that there will probably be an rs model too. 67speeda 01-09-2006, 08:55 PM put the Z/28 in there instead of SS NO lol kick Z tail out 01-09-2006, 09:10 PM The Z28 would have to be offset, not centered anyway. ;) I like this one, and Kris Hortons' new design he did today. I actually prefer the grill that Kris did, although this one is runner up as far as the grill. And OTOH, I prefer these hideaway lights to Kris' ones... However either design is an improvement to the current concept's grill/headlight setup. I know GM is listening and gauging the chatter in the community. Hopefully they take a look at these before finalizing the design. curtg21 01-09-2006, 09:59 PM where is this new chris horton design? KBearZ28 01-09-2006, 10:02 PM The concept car is darn near perfect IMO. But that RS photo shop makes it perfect!! GM please make it!!!!!! Kevin 12SCNDZ 01-09-2006, 10:05 PM I hope GM get's this picture. You took a car that I liked and turned it into a car I love! If GM doesn't build it like this, I certainly hope the aftermarket will! Frank kick Z tail out 01-09-2006, 11:23 PM where is this new chris horton design? http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=421403 I like that it's all blacked out and inconspicuous, except for that single strip of chrome. Z28Marcus 01-09-2006, 11:32 PM Grill is better... would still prefer a billet effort.. nothing the aftemarket won't be able to fix though. Don't like the headlights though... those RS style lights don't look right on this car. The Detroit concepts' original headlights are more modern and suit the car better IMO. kick Z tail out 01-09-2006, 11:35 PM Grill is better... would still prefer a billet effort.. nothing the aftemarket won't be able to fix though. Don't like the headlights though... those RS style lights don't look right on this car. The Detroit concepts' original headlights are more modern and suit the car better IMO. I disagree with you on that... I feel the hideaways with a slightly different grill (like the ones we're seeing here) would be a definite improvement. MadMaxz28 01-11-2006, 06:48 PM looks great best ive seen so far 4EverCamaro 01-11-2006, 07:11 PM That is the icing on the cake! Sweet. Excellent job. Bad AZz Z28 01-12-2006, 05:07 PM I hope GM get's this picture. You took a car that I liked and turned it into a car I love! EXACTLY Edit: minus the SS part, obviously ;) 95vert 01-13-2006, 11:18 PM good start. Send it to GM. | ||
