Any of you run into problems mounting the N20 nozzle in a vortec elbow? If so, where did you end up puting it? I don't want to run a MAF kit, and the Throttle body kit is a little pricey as well. Tips, tricks?
Thanks, BIZ

I put mine in the rubber hose connecting elbow to the maf. works fine. you could also drill tap the elbow

Since its a Vortec, it has the divider in the middle of the elbow. I also don't want to screw up my Opti, since the vent hose would be between the nozzle and the TB. I'm sure I will think of something. Actually where the elbow is drilled/tapped for the opti vent, the N20 nozzle fits perfectly, but it hits the top of the H20 pump. I may just have to finesse something in there.

do a search in the nitrous forum for vortech elbow. its been discussed plenty. a lot of guys just tap one side of the divider with no problems. some tap it before the divide begins. some split the nitrous line and tap it on both sides. others tap it into the rubber hose connecting the maf to the elbow.

I mounted mine in the IAT sensor bung right in front of the TB. This
required moving the IAT sensor into the intake tube using a wiring
extender.

I heard spraying threw the vortech elbow is not a good idea at all. Reason being is because of the divider in the elbow will not let the nitrous flow evenly which would cause the engine to run like ****. It could also start melting the tips of the spark plugs off. I recently just purchased a vortech elbow also and i am going to sell it and get a trick flow elbow so i dont have to worry about the divider messing up the flow.
