I thought it sounded lousy, like a V8 with ricer tailpipes. (it does kinda have them!) But most of the 1st Gens (without LS engines of course) sounded really nice.

I'll have to wait for the video on demand replay, I guess.

Yes, sounded sweet, but you had to expect nothing less when they spent all that time building up to it all those old, big block first gens through the crowd.
