Will a 250 shot work?

On my old factory LT1 I ran a 150 shot with no problems. I will now have a 383 LT1 with 10:1 compression and forged rods and pistons. The crank is just a regular Skat crank. My mechanic is setting up rings and everything specifically to be used with nitrous. My question is should a 250 shot be okay with this motor?

spray it till the crank snaps and start over down the road with a forged one

250 is pushing it. I'd stay around 200.

You can spray more than that on a Scat crank. I know someone who's had a 375 shot on one.

For what its worth, I had a rep at NX tell me that a old setup I was doing which used a Scat cast steel crank, H beams, and SRP's setup setup for spray would be fine with a 250 shot. He said just be sure to use the proper safety equipment and gave me a spark plug recomendation.

I'm spraying a 250 thru noszles direct port on a 350. Scat 9000 cast crank, Scat pro series I-beams and some cosworth forged pistons. Havent broke anything but the tranny so far  Its all in one stage right off the line on at 3200 right thru the 6400 shift. I'm still running 28 degrees of timing and getting NO knock.
