First, let it be known, that this car is titled in my name AS WELL AS my ex girlfriend's name. We broke up and have agreed to sell the car. The reason I say this, is due to the fact that she lives about 4 hours from me, and the title is at a bank about 4 hours from me also. So.......it may be a week or so before the title gets signed by everyone, and is in your hands, is what I am saying. Ok, on to the good stuff.
1999 Trans Am white w/ Ttops (88xxx)
A4
Lid
!emission
Ported LS1 heads
TR224/224 .581"/.581" cam
Vig 3200
Pacesetter LT
ORY
cutout before stock muffler
365rwhp 12.0@11X 1.60 60' (can run 11's, but I didn't want to install a cage)
MT Street Radials with 10 runs and about 500 highway miles on them
Computer has been tuned for this setup
Interior is 9.5/10, I can't think of any stains off the top of my head. Brown leather. Stock CD player.
Here are some things about the car I would want to know ahead of time.
* I wouldn't consider it street friendly. You can drive it fine, but the idle takes a bit of getting used to, as well as the converter. Along with that, gas MPG isn't impressive either, but not horrible.
* The ORY taps on the floorboard under moderate/great torque. The fix would be to have an exhaust pro notch, or bend it down a bit. With the cutout open, you can't even hear it. With the cutout closed, it gets annoying to me, but only happens under moderate and greater acceleration.
* The driver's side window tint is beginning to peel.
* The car has an aftermarket alarm, and remote start installed. I have figured out how to remote start it, and unlock the doors, thats it.
* The idle hangs around 1200 with your foot off the gas, until you come to a complete stop, then dips and stays around 900. This annoys me, but is best we could tune it for. This results in a bit more braking power that you are normally used to needing.
* The A/C hasn't worked since I had the mods installed, I "assume" they forgot to recharge it after working on the engine, but haven't confirmed it.
* A reputable performance shop in IL, named Horsepower Factory installed all the mods at once, I have reciepts.
I do have the 12.0 run on video, and the dyno runs if anyone is seriously interested.
Reply here or send email to BamaZ28@gmail.com with questions. I am asking $11,800, if you are willing to be patient during the title process.
