i just got some polk 6-3/4" speakers for the rear of my 1995 camaro (without bose system, hatchback), because crutchfield said they would fit. turns out the holes for the screws do not line up, and i cannot find a speaker adapter bracket online. it seems that the stock rear speakers were bigger, does anyone know what size they are? that would help me find a bracket. has anyone else run into this problem, and how did you get past it? build your own? that seems like a pain in the ass to me im just trying to mount my speakers up. thanks, this is real frustrating.

possibly rotate them so they are offset from the stock screw holes and drill new holes? has anyone done that

The hole might not line up but it fits fine. Grab a drill and get a smaller bit than your screw and predrill. Use the black metal tabs that came in your polk kit where u drill you holes. Then screw it in.
