Alright guys check it out, I have a 1989 Camaro RS 305 TBI that is bone stock. Car drives pretty good except for 1 thing it bucks like crazy sometimes. Its almost like the fuel is cutting out then recovering and it does this sporadically. The one thing I do notice is that it will happen more if I hit a big bump in the road. I obtained the trouble code and it is saying fuel pump relay. Is this a common problem with these cars?

Could the relay be bad?

Where is the relay located?

The only other thing I have noticed by looking at the single line wiring diagrams is that when the relay goes bad it supposedly bypasses through the oil pressure switch or something??? The oil pressure gauge does only work now and then.

What the heck is going on here?

when u lose oil pressure the ECM cuts the fuel feed to stop from damaging the engine.
