Exterior light question.....

So today i installed my clear corner lenses up front and the side ones in back.... however during the install it hit me... what the hell are the side ones in the back for? when do they light up? mine dont work with the lights or turn signals... and i did try changin the bulbs... any clue?

Mine don't work either, before changing to clears i thought they were just reflectors but they have bulbs which don't light up, and i just now checked with the hazards on and still nothing, oh well.

mine are on when the lights are on. check to see if you have power going to them (meter)

Just got back from the part store with new bulbs and they both work now :D they don't look too bad with clears.
