I've been looking for some decent fitting seat covers for my car for ahwhile, I ordered some off ebay one time, but the fitment was horrible so I ended up taking them off. Does anyone know of a place that makes seat covers, to fit our cars well? Doesn't have to be anything too fancy, I just want to cover up the rip in my driver side, and a cigarette hole. And have my seats look better, and remain comfortable.

PLEASE post on the correct forum... "seat covers" don't belong on "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech". Moving to "General F-Body Tech", or you might want to try Appearance.

I got a set of seat covers for my Z28 when I was driving it in the winter time a couple years ago, and I just bought them at Walmart for about ~$30/ea., and they fit great! :thumb: I got ones that were black velour (I think that was the material? ) with silver material down the center section to match my car;). They came in plain black too . I liked them 'cause they weren't too "flashy", nor were they "cheap" looking, and they covered the entire seat (back of the seat as well) :).

Applogies for posting in the wrong section, still getting familarized with this board, I figured all LT1 stuff went in the same forum, but obviously I was wrong and the LT1 board isn't for all things LT1.
Anyway, I might have to try out a set of Wal-Mart seat covers, I figured that seat covers had to be specially made to fit our unique style of seats... For $30-40 bucks it can't hurt too try. Anyon else know of some other places, besides general stores like Wal-Mart?

Our local Pep Boys has seat covers, including some with Chevy logos up by the headrests. They also have gray/graphite velour that nearly matches the stock fabric. I've been thinking of picking up a set before any rips or tears develop.

I had some plain black elastic covers from Wal-Mart that worked just fine. I think it was $30 for a set.

Sometimes the simple things work the best. Just eyeball the shape of the covers when you purchase. I have a set of the regular basic black from walmart on my 94 and they fit better than the grey "seat protectors" style of cover that I inherited with another Z28. They look better, but just not quite as heavy.
