powdercoating smoothie II's?

I'm about to get a set of smoothie II's and I hear there a real pain to keep clean. What are your thoughts on clear powdercoating a set of smoothie II's?

I have the same ? I have torq thrust though, basically the same thing, yes they are a pain to keep clean, i want my spokes charcoal grey, hopefully we can get help.
