Not sure if the stock springs have enough rate to handle that big of a bar.

Is a 35MM sway bar safe on stock springs.Camarorob1997 12-31-2005, 12:10 PM Not sure if the stock springs have enough rate to handle that big of a bar. Shempy 12-31-2005, 03:37 PM Autocrossers in stock class do it all the time. It's pretty much std operating procedure. And yes, I have a 35mm and stock springs on my Formula. Camarorob1997 12-31-2005, 03:58 PM Ok thats great then, I think im going to keep the 19mm rear. I thought about running a 21mm but I think the 19mm is enough. What other bar is there then suspension techniques, I would prefer to grab a hollow bar. Z28barnett 12-31-2005, 08:48 PM Springs don't matter that much with the sway bar, strano runs stock fronts with 35mm. Strano parts.com has a 35mm hollow. Z28 Shempy 01-01-2006, 02:40 AM The cheapest hollow 35 is going to come from stranoparts.com You'll have to call, the web site is less than spectacular. OBE1 95Z28 01-01-2006, 02:33 PM Talk with Sam Strano at stranoparts.com for the best advise. My understanding is you would want either a 35/21 combo or a 32/19 combo. Camarorob1997 01-01-2006, 02:39 PM Deffentially will be giving him a call here soonish. I know what i want to do just got to finish up the little details. Thanks guys | ||
