Understood when bought Brackets that they needed to be welded.
However, at no time have I ever seen any site suggest that
they needed to be "Tig" welded, and having a tough time trying
to find a place who has equipment and/or expertise., even in a
big city like Vancouver, Canada. Given the minor cost of purchase,
but major cost of having them installed, not sure I would have
planned to lower the car. My question is: Do they need Tig Welding?

I stick welded mine. TIG, MIG or stick, they are all OK as long as you get proper penetration and use the right filler material.
