should iTRIPOWER 12-27-2005, 09:35 PM get a set of sub frame conn on my hard top? or is stiff enough? 2000GTP 12-28-2005, 10:11 AM The 4th gen chassis is decently rigid already, but sfc's are still a good upgrade for further strength, especially if your car starts to put up some big power numbers in the future. I just picked up a pair of Spohn weld-ins on sale for 130.00 so it is an affordable upgrade. MyShibbyZ28 12-28-2005, 12:44 PM Like said, unless you are making 400 + rwhp you are not going to feel a difference. TRIPOWER 12-28-2005, 01:14 PM Im not there yet with the hp, but my car not having t-tops is stiffer? roguedriver 12-28-2005, 07:05 PM The body is stiffer, but i'd do it even if you aren't making big power yet. It helps out a lot with those creeks and rattles that show up over time from the body flexing. Especially on t-tops and rag tops. Ken R. lt1aggie 12-29-2005, 12:49 AM I've got some brand new SLP weld in's I'll sell you. PM me for more info. Steve0 12-29-2005, 09:56 AM I think on a street car, a nice set of shocks is a much better investment than a set of SFCs. I'd only install SFCs if you had big plans for the car. | ||
