The LT1 tailights are by far cooler in my opinion, but to each his own. Still a nice ride. I'm just not a huge fan of the honeycomb.

Well I was on my third pair of LT1 tail lights and the lenses kept cracking, the laminent(spelling?) kept on coming off, and they would turn into Tail light fish tanks! I have yet to hear of a problem like this on the newer style, plus I think they flow better with my color scheme!

Brent sells honeycomb vinyls that go over the reverse lights that might make it look a lil better.

Thats really weird. I still have the original lights on mine 10+ years old and never had one leak. Hope you have better luck with the new ones.

I've always wondered tho, wouldn't they get hot? I guess they wouldn't because you only have your reverse lights on for like 10 seconds. :)

dont u think a steel hood gets hot after sitting in sun all day ;) vinyl holds up pretty well in the heat- if im correct it actually tightens and will grip better

I thought it was pretty wierd too, it was only the passenger side light only too!! I love the new look too! I'm just waiting for my hood and some interior pieces and I'm done with the appearance part of this car!
