best tire for all season camaro z28

I'm having to go tire shopping again and well I had nitto 450's which sucked in wet weather so I'm looking for a better tire. I'm pretty much open to any suggestion that will fit my 16in stock salad shooters. I talked to the discount tire guy here locally and he suggested the kumo ecsta ASX and i was looking at the BFgoodrich traction ta. I was just wondeirng what you guys thought about these tires and is there a better tire out there?

neither tire will give you outstanding traction as far as performance goes, but I lean towards the ASX. Z-rated,, limited 30k mileage warranty and ride pretty damn good. I put them on my moms CLK320 Benz

OK so your votes for the asx. Well if you know of a better tire that handles well during wet conditions please let me know. I heard the michlen pilots and perrilis (sorry for spelling) were pretty good but are the worth the big increase in price? I'm open to all suggestions just my main concern is wet weather handling cause I have always had good dry weather handling and no traction during wet weather.
