clear coated my center console, pic

I'm not crazy about carbon fiber, colors or sanding it down smooth (unless you sand everything). that stuff kinda sticks out. doesn't look bad, just kinda sticks out. So I decided to clear coat my center console.

It's got 4 coats of clear.

looks good man, not something I would particularly like in my car, but it still looks good!

It turned out good, your right it doesn't stand out as much as carbon fiber per say, but its still noticable.

I dont think that crappy pic does it justice.

btw, i bought some pacesetter headers, eventually i should have a couple more clips for your sound library ;)

yep. :) its gonna be until at least summer before they are installed though.

It looks pretty good, but can we get some better pictures of it?? And can i ask what in the hell gave you the idea to clear coat your console?

The only thing i would be worried about is in a heavy wear spot, the clear coat rubbing through back down to the plastic.

4 coats should last a while, but if not I'll pick up one on ebay for a couple of bucks.
