Eric I have talked you a few times and I was building a 396 with my ported AFR heads and a Super vic converted intake from Bret Bauer. But I have decided to build a Boosted 383, with about a 8-12lbs of boost on a Le2 heads and intake.
I will call you the day after christmas, but see what we could do about a 383 low compression shorblock.

Now I have over 4,000 dollars in my heads and intake that I am selling.

Looking to make about 550RWHP with the Le2 heads and a procharger.

You guys sell the procharger units as well, I will be calling you:)

We will be open on Monday 9am-6pm to assist you.

Do you have any engine dyno #'s for your longblocks?

Eric this is Ben Charles, I will call you NEXT week FOR SURE and order the 383, Just to let you know what the setup is going to consist of so we you figure in the Desired compression ratio. I figure somewhere around 9:1-9:3 or so with the amount of Boost I am going to run. I think with anymore Compression with the amount of boost I would run would be unsafe and any less would leave power on the table??? what do you think????

The specs on the heads are from what Lloyd Elliot sent me "We milled the heads .010 more and so the chambers ended up at 57 cc, The intake has a 58/45/33 valve job and the exhaust is a radius type valve job.
2.05 intake valve, 1.60 Exhaust Valve, I don't really car about Flow numbers but they do hit 290CFM. The intake ports started as a 195 LT4 AFR head the Intake ports are 216 cc now.
Bob at Exotic performance plus hooked me up with the D1 setup (I had wanted to go with the P1 when I talked to you) Bob metioned that the P1 would not make the 8-14lbs or boost that I wanted since the motor was going to be so Effiecent already, Suppose I would max the p1 out.
Going to get a little custom with it and run a FMIC with a Vortech Mono bypass and have the intercooler tubing come up from the passenger side (relocated Battery to the back) into a Coated Trickflow Elbow (that way I don't have to fabricate anything with the OVAL TB to the round IC Tubing, lol)

Running a Ported(runners) LT4 intake and Monoblade (SOLD the Converted Bret Bauer Super Vic)

I plan on a running a 918 Beehive spring, OEM lifters, TI retainers, Custom cam from my buddy at comp cams, we plan on keeping the lift in the .560-.580 lift and run a 114 LSA on say a 227/239 cam (ROUGHLY)
