if i add a new cd player to my 2000 Z28 will the controls on my sterring wheel still work?

no they wont but there is an adapter available to integrate the steering wheel controls if your headunit has a remote for it... i believe its around 70 dollars or so

If your HU uses an infrared remote control you'll be able to use the PAC adapter to keep your steering wheel controls.
