Firebird Vs Camaro....

I was just curiuos as to what Fbody owners prefer the Camaro or Firebird, appearance wise. I'll start off saying that I really like the lines and shape of a bird. I've never been inside one but the interior seems a little busy to me so I'd give the maro the nod there. Anybody else?

I like the Firebirds, they look nice, but you can't personalize them like you can personalize a Camaro. My vote goes to Camaro. :)

My vote goes to Camaro. T/A's look a little too "bubbley" for me. I like clean straight lines, plus I hate honey comb tail lights. I do think the bird's interior is more comfortable though

I like Birds, but those lousy flip-up headlamp motors? Heh, a coworker of mine several years back was using a hanger to lift them up in his 84 Bird.

I agree with meissanation.. U can get different style Ground Fx for the camaro's (vizage/Xenon/RS), and I think the only thing available for the Trans Am is the body side molding that are only available on Trans Am models not Firebird Formula's.. My vote goes to Camaro..

Trans ams have better lines and that means you can personalize them more. ;)

I used to really really like Firebirds, I thought they were the most badass thing out there.. then I started noticing Camaros.. and for some reason, I started liking them more. Firebirds seemed overdone at that point. And I don't like pop-up headlights, especially when up. The LS1 Trans-Am looks mean as hell sometimes. Othertimes it looks bloated and overdone. I side with Camaros.

You can get the Wings West kit for the birds. But I prefer the lines of the bird, maybe that's why I own one :D I also like the interior a lot more.

lt1 cars my vote goes to the maros...... ls1 ws6/firehawk get the vote but i still love the camaros too.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought that. I like my z a lot but I just think all birds have a lot more agressive lines and I like that. nice to see so many opinions on this.:D

The Firebird's rear-end bulbaciousness is unsightly. I do like the Bird's interior a lot more though. The major gripe I have against LT1 Camaros is the inset headlights. When they did away with that on the LS1, the Camaro quickly became my favorite body style for the f-body. The LS1 Bird is just as good because I like the way the front end was designed, despite the retained buttbulb. :D

Trans Am's look mean, but only with the head lights down. lol..

Camaro's are pretty damn plain, that's why there's so many appearance mods made for them. Plus you see 10 Camaros for every 1 Firebird on the road, so you would pretty much have to differentiate yourself somehow. There's no need to make 20 different wings for a Firebird, nor several ground effect kits that even Japan's unfinest are trying to create for the Camaro. That's why the perfect 4th gen would be the 93-97 Firebird :bow: because the lines are just there. But from the side, the 98+ looks like a front end collision with its lumpy fenders. Let's just forget about the horrid "mouth" and Chrysler headlights of the 98+ Camaro as well. The 93-97 Camaros are pretty good though.

Hmm... I'd have to say the best combo would be an LT1 Camaro with the interior from an LT1 Trans Am.

I like the Firebirds, they look nice, but you can't personalize them like you can personalize a Camaro. My vote goes to Camaro. :)
^^^What he said. I like the 4th gen rear end of the Camaro more too. IMHO I think the Camaro in street trim looks badass :D
