Street Tire??

Can someone help me here I am looking for the best street tire for street racing now I'm leaning toward the NITTO'S 555's EXTREME PERFORMANCE I hear they are one of the best.Does anyone know maybe a better one?

What kind of racing??? The Nitto you mention is a DR. BFG is better and MT is even better, but they're softer so they wear out quicker. Hoosier also makes a DR now IIRC.

Now if you want something that you can actually safely drive in the rain, BFG KD, Kumho MX, GY GSD3, to name a few.

Street racing and I'm not worried about rain..

I'd go with the Nitto DR myself. It will work very well on a non-prepped surface and it won't wear out in 3-5k.

Does anyone know what the widest tire I can put on a 17x10 wheel without it sticking out or rubbing my ground effects is it 275/40?
