I can see how some people might have an issue with it's retro-ness. But considering the Challenger's brief past....how do you make a 21st century version that links to that past and doesn't look retro?
I'm not sure how I feel about the interior, but I like the rest.

I've said before that GTO was a perfect situation for retro styling, because of this very situation, but the circumstances with Monaro didn't allow for that at the time....
Retro styling on a reborn GTO would have made much more sense than retro styling on a next generation Camaro (IMHO, of course)

What it looks like happened at DCX is Marketing gave a designer or engineer a pic of a '71 Challenger and a sheet of tracing paper, and said, "Copy this, add a few modern touches, but don't work too hard on it because at the moment the buying public will trip over whatever nostalgic crap we can pawn on them."
