I going to start running a 250 or even maybe a 300 shot of nitrous through my LT1. I want to know all the preparations that need to be done before installing the nitrous. I will be running this shot though the car alot. It has headers, cam, gear. Whats this going to do to my motor. Keep in mind that it will be sprayed alot.

KA-BOOM.

You are going to need a forged shortblock with good rods for duration spraying at that level.

Are you spraying now? If so how much? Why not start with a 150 and if your not satisfied work your way up with a well though out setup. SOmething like the NX/FJO dual stage progressive controller will help your stock shortblock live better than you would ever think under extreme conditions. The problem..as stated above...a 300 shot all at once will have a TREMENDOUS tq spike. The stock bottom end surely will not live long then.

Your gonna need a progressive or atleast dual stages do break up any thing remotely close to what your looking for.

I will be running this shot though the car alot.

I think your stock bottom end will have a different idea about that.
