Ls1 and Lt1 lowering spring differences

Im thinking of buying some intrax springs, they are for the 98-02 cars will these work on my lowly Lt1 or are these springs soley for the ls1 cars?

The spring rates are probably different for LS1 cars compared to LT1 ones. You should call them and ask them, that is what they are there for. Good luck.

The front end weight of an LS1 car is less because of the all aluminum motor so the springs can be lighter I would think. I believe they all fit though because BMR springs are advertised as fitting 93-2002 for one set of springs.

Not "lighter", but "less stiff". Springs are mainly characterized via their stiffness; the equation is F=-kx, where "k" is the spring rate expressed in force/length. Anyways, enough physics :)

Thats what I meant. The stuffness of the whole system is characterised as

F=kx+cx(dot)+mx(double dot)

With m the mass of the system and c the damping coefficient
