Help with high/low beam lights

I need help solving a problem with my lights. When I try to turn the highs on, they light up but do not stay on. I also do not hear the click sound when turning them on. Turn signals and cruse control work fine.
Is this the switch in the steering collum or is this a switch the dealer told me about at the botom if the collum that controls the lights by way of a rod?
Please any help will be appreciated.

lol dude that happen a lot to my 93. sorry to hear about it. i really never fixed it but when you pull the lever back, put your hand on top of the square box (don't know what to call it) that is sitting on top of the lever. you should hear a click. then to undo it just repeat. i never bothered to fix it, but it should be simple. hope it helped:bow:
