Re: engine block heater??

I wasn't aware gm ever produced a block warmer for any gas engine, I know all deisel engines have block warmers but I could be worng about this. You might wanna try looking at the after market for one it would probably be cheaper and work just as good as anything you could get from gm. Just have fun installing it.

GM has put these on gas engines for like forever. The LT1 had one as an option. IMO, it would be easier to install an aftermarket heater that goes in a hose than trying to install the factory one that goes in the freeze plug.

A block heater isn't even worth the hassle, you're gonna plug it in on one of those cold mornings? Or are you just gonna leave it in overnight and watch the electric bill soar?
