About 1 week ago I'm driving out of the wal-mart parking lot (got some m4d jdm-style fl00rmats y0!). I see a decked-out 95ish green camaro z28 w/ black wheels.i proceed to double-clutch it into 1st and accidentaly do a little 180 ( not used to drivng a car w/ oversteer lol). Mr. Mullet proceeds to hop onto the freeway.

I hop on I-5 after mr. mullet and floor it in third gear past him. (i h8 camaros, mustangs, etc. almost got killed by another green z28 in my civic) Mr. Mullet gets behind and floors it i can see his car almost jump forward. I keep flooring it in fourth he gets beside me at which point he pulls a fender on me in 4th, then he shifts( z28=6 speed) at which point im still @ 6k in 4th. I keep flooring it at which point the whining noise coming from the intake on my beloved b18 kicks in( think wrx but no blowoff valve. I pull dead even with him at the top of fourth.

At this point there is a semi about 5 seconds ahead in his lane, we are both doing about 125, time to shut it off. I hit the brakes ( i heart cobalt spec vr pads). He hits the brakes too, I nicely yield the right of way. The camaro keeps going at this point , being smarter than wantin to race a LS-1 at speeds above 125 mph ( i'd get smoked) I hop off on exit 14.

Cliffs Notes: See a decked-out camaro z28, dead even race from a 80-125 4th gear pull. I shut it off at 125.B18>LS1. I laugh at camaros at a stoplight and at a gaspump, but not on the freeway lol.

I usually laugh at Integras at the stoplights, the gaspumps, and the freeway.

 

I raced a turbocharged Integra on the highway ~ 3 years ago (a friend of mine knew of the car I raced, so he confirmed it was turbo'd, and I believe a B18 engine) ...

... anyway, the 'Teggy actually ran a lot faster than I expected, especially upto ~120 mph (not faster than me, but a lot closer than I anticipated) but beyond ~120 I started walking away no problem. We got slowed down to ~90-ish then hit it again, and again I didn't start putting huge distance on him 'til over 120. Surprised me for a little runt. Pretty much same story with the SRT-4 I raced. The power of the LS1 really seems to shine out on the highway where wind resistance tends to slow most cars down ... the LS1 just keeps on pullin'!!!

 

Just FYI.. LS1 did not come out until '98....so he raced an LT1...unless the 95z did an engine swap..

I am lost on this guy. His sig says he has a t/a with lt's, ported heads, and cai. You think he would know the years of the lt1. The ls1 thing could be a lot of miss typing. ls1=350 hp of top end a$$ ramming for the 'Teggy. Also, what is it with imports and listing there spark plugs and wires as mods. One of my friend just put down 20ish a plug on his n/a h22.

 

i do know the year the lt1's came in the camaro's. i posted this up for everyeone to get a good laugh at. that's why i posted his myspace link as well. i have already sent this douche bag a maessage calling him out to race my "high 14" second lt1 as he claims. its a drivers race for his high 15 second integra he said. if he doesn't bitch out im getting it on video.
