stars1010 12-08-2005, 02:08 PM Since we know GM won’t use the CV6 production platform under the NAIAS concept......
Does anyone think they may use the current GTO's?
In my eyes the concept we've seen would fit the general proportions of the production GTO.
Any thoughts?
turbo96z28 12-08-2005, 02:20 PM my first thought is you need to put down the pipe and walk away for awhile :p j/k.
i think the concept is either gonna sport a GTO platform or a modified Sigma chassis.

CZ6. And my bet is that the chassis under the conept doesn't matter but still I think Kappa components will be used.
94Camaro_Z_28 12-08-2005, 02:48 PM ^I agree...though I'm not sure why....
dfmoeller 12-08-2005, 07:51 PM They publicly announced last week already that they would be showing a Camaro concept built on a stretched Kappa. Pay attention, please!
Reds been telling us for months not to pay any attention to the concept platform, its merely a mule to show the body on. The real question is, "what, exactly, are those CAD drawings showing"?

:Owned: This smilely is going to get a workout around here.
30thZ286speed 12-08-2005, 09:31 PM I saw a illustration of some rear suspension components that looked like Kappa componets, but I don't know what they were from. I've been going through way too many threads the last couple of days.

:D Yup, I'm so not looking forward to everybody and their brother coming in here and telling us regulars how its ganna be....
Capn Pete 12-08-2005, 10:38 PM You must have missed this thread (http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=414380) then?;) It shows a couple pics underneath the CTS. The rear looks IDENTICAL to the Camaro chassis:thumb:. The front is a little different I think? I think that's where the "sigma-lite" is coming from? Or shall I say, "zegma"??:D

stars1010 12-09-2005, 12:02 AM Ok for those of you who didn’t read my first post…..
I’M TALKING ABOUT THE CONCEPT NOT THE PRODUCTION CAR
I know the PRODUCTION CAR will use sigma-lite, I was one of the first here to say it when the CV6 tech drawings were posted this week.
I’m talking about the NAIAS concept……
I’m thinking the current GTO may be used,
Its in production,
Its about the right size to fit the concept around it,
It has all the right hardware in it already….
Geez its just a theory,

I for the life of me cant find a undercarrage pic of a CTS , SRX or STS . I did however find one of a GTO .
Not tooo many similarities goin on there .
Go re-read my first post in this thread....I'm not talking about the production car:mad:

guesswhoo 12-09-2005, 05:34 AM Sounds like the upcoming Camaro will have IRS problems like the CTSv does.
