Another RWD, V8, coupe at NAIAS.Z284ever 12-03-2005, 06:23 PM http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=108126 guionM 12-03-2005, 06:28 PM So, it's Camaro, Challenger, the production Shelby Mustang, Nissan's Skyline, and now an IS coupe too. Doesn't seem the coupe market quite knows it's dead, does it? SSbaby 12-03-2005, 06:47 PM 5.0L V8, 450 bhp... Looks like Toyota wants a piece of the muscle car action. BigggD222 12-03-2005, 06:47 PM Lexus will also be sporting this in the ALMS in 06........http://americanlemans.com/News/Article.aspx?NewsID=1675 IMPALA64 12-03-2005, 10:30 PM Japanese cant make good American cars. The Camaro, Challenger and Mustang will make their appliance type cars look weak. unvc92camarors 12-03-2005, 11:14 PM Japanese cant make good American cars. The Camaro, Challenger and Mustang will make their appliance type cars look weak. I'd have to agree. And I have to say...unfortunately, that I do find the Lexus IS to be somewhat of an attractive bland vehicle. A 2 door was the only thing it was lacking in my mind (and a bit bolder styling, but I digress..). 30thZ286speed 12-04-2005, 12:21 AM Great, I guess all of these will beat Camaro to the market, as usually GM is the last to show up at the party. OutsiderIROC-Z 12-04-2005, 12:59 AM Great, I guess all of these will beat Camaro to the market, as usually GM is the last to show up at the party. Can't really argue with that.... KevinZ44 12-04-2005, 01:07 AM If the IS coupe looks anything like the LS-F shown at the link you provided, I would imagine that the big three have nothing to fear. You guys are forgetting that the Jeep Wrangler 2dr and 4dr will also be making an appearance at the NAIAS. :D | ||
