So, it's Camaro, Challenger, the production Shelby Mustang, Nissan's Skyline, and now an IS coupe too.

Doesn't seem the coupe market quite knows it's dead, does it?

5.0L V8, 450 bhp... Looks like Toyota wants a piece of the muscle car action.

Japanese cant make good American cars. The Camaro, Challenger and Mustang will make their appliance type cars look weak.

I'd have to agree.

And I have to say...unfortunately, that I do find the Lexus IS to be somewhat of an attractive bland vehicle. A 2 door was the only thing it was lacking in my mind (and a bit bolder styling, but I digress..).

Great, I guess all of these will beat Camaro to the market, as usually GM is the last to show up at the party.

Can't really argue with that....

If the IS coupe looks anything like the LS-F shown at the link you provided, I would imagine that the big three have nothing to fear.

You guys are forgetting that the Jeep Wrangler 2dr and 4dr will also be making an appearance at the NAIAS. :D
