Hi, for some reason, I love the sound of noisy gear drives on cars. I want to buy one, but my parnets say it's way too loud and they don't want me driving that through my neighborhood. It'd go on a 350 SBC.

I want the "noisy" kind. Does anyone have one or can they describe how loud it is, or do you know where I can get a sound clip? I want to try to get one of these.

I don't have a sound clip but a friend of mine has one in his truck (noisy kind) and you really can't hear it unless your standing in front of his truck. His long tube headers and dual exhaust are way louder than the gear drive.

 

I agree, if I can find one, I eventually want a gear drive.. if it's noisier, it must be cooler Except for an SLP LM + LTs

 

Gear drives are cool. If I can find a way to adapt one to the LT1 Im gonna run a gear drive. and yes even the noisy ones are not that loud. It sounds like a muted supercharger.
