SLP Question - First Post98MustGT 11-27-2005, 11:48 PM I am looking to buy a 2002 Camaro Z-28 SS SLP 6-speed. What did SLP do to these cars and how do you tell what SLP options were installed? MasterEvilAce 11-28-2005, 12:29 AM open the door and on the side you'll see a sticker under? the RPO codes sticker.. it'll list the options that were installed on your car from SLP there were a variety of options.. keychains.. floor mats.. center-mount exhaust... a search will tell you them all This sticker usually appears faded.. from what I can tell. If it is, take a picture of it using a digital camera and you can usually mess with some settings to be able to read it Backfire4200 11-29-2005, 09:58 AM SLP may not have done very much to it depending on the options it has. I forget exactly what year (2000 maybe?) the camaros stopped going to SLP by default because GM bought the marketing rights for the SS. SLP kept the Firehawk marketing rights which is why Firehawks are much more rare. SLP was solely responsible for marketing the Firehawk. Camaros only went to SLP after that if they ordered SLP options, (center exhaust, upgraded suspension, etc) othewise a "stock" SS was shipped directly from GM. Correct me if i'm wrong? | ||
