Supercharge

I was wondering if anyone had pictures of a supercharge that goes on top of the intake manifold.... i know that those vortec ones are centrifugal supercharges... what is the name for the one i want to see pics of?

The Vortec EXT. are centrifugal SuperChargers and the one in the pic are Twin Screw ( Stock on 00' or 02' Mustang GT's ) and the BIG boys like BDS are called Roots Type Blowers

The only supercharged Mustangs are 2003 and 2004 Cobras, not sure about all the 2005 options so I'll leave those out of this. But all Mustang GT models are naturally aspirated.

Roots blowers are similar to twin screw, but are usually way less efficient. More for the show factor.

Centrifugal don't go on top of the engine, so those obviously aren't the ones you were talking about.

And the photo I posted was a Magnuson blower.

Yeah, the Magnuson blower. There's a guy with an LS1 El Camino that's running a Magnuson on top of it(www.bubbadrift.com) so it will definitely work on LS1s. Not sure where to buy it, but I'm willing to bet that Google knows:)
