94DROPTOPZ28 11-23-2005, 06:33 AM but i will take the highest offer
Why not just goto E-bay, if your looking for the highest offer
anasazi 11-23-2005, 09:58 AM put it on ebay now while you can still get $1,000 for it
in 2 weeks they won't be selling that high anymore
NorySS 11-23-2005, 03:38 PM Since the top of the page on the forum says to join a conversation, Ill offer $10k fly you and your family over here to miami in a private jet, and stay in a five star resort, a week paid rental car (escalade on 28"s twin turbo'ed) and all your dinning expenses paid for. How does that offer sound??? Let me know when you want it to go down, my new Black American Express card is just burning in my hands.
LWillmann 11-23-2005, 04:19 PM I will honestly and truthfully give you $50 for it.
v8pwrdz28 11-23-2005, 04:56 PM haha, good luck selling it, xbox 360s are crashing everywhere.
Resilient94LT1 11-23-2005, 11:10 PM One went on ebay for $5,000.00 yesterday. The rest are going for almost $2K still.
IdahoLT1 11-24-2005, 02:12 AM if you could spend 2k on a game system and not wait for a couple weeks to buy it at regular price then you have too much money. or you need to spend it on better things i.e. f-bodies. i know what i would do with just 10x that. blow it all on my car, booze and hookers? j/k
sniffin94 11-24-2005, 09:23 AM I will give you $2500 for it
brubble 11-24-2005, 10:36 AM I'll trade you a ball of belly button lint and a rusty spoon?
LWillmann 11-25-2005, 06:01 PM Ok, $75
speedracer69 11-25-2005, 06:18 PM I will give 87.00
LWillmann 11-25-2005, 06:26 PM $95, and that's my final offer.
speedracer69 11-25-2005, 06:29 PM 96.09
blind527 11-25-2005, 07:58 PM I will honestly give you 300 for it, plus shipping how much it should be. It's not right to try to rip people off for a quick profit. What ever happened to sharing and helping people out? Since it's a Core, forget it. I'll wait for my premium, unless I can find one somewhere else.

why would anyone want to sell it for 300 when they can get 10 times that. It's called free enterprise, look it up.
blind527 11-25-2005, 10:05 PM why would anyone want to sell it for 300 when they can get 10 times that. It's called free enterprise, look it up.
Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm only majoring in business administration and marketing. Anyone that sells things like this is greedy, plain and simple. I bet you anything, that one week from now, people will be buying this system for only 500, not the 3-10,000 they are selling it for. It's ridiculous. 800 is also ridiculous.
Mighty 11-26-2005, 07:42 AM You are majoring in business administration and marketing and you think that people should share and help other people out? Maybe you should find another major. We are talking about people selling something that people DON'T NEED. If someone wants to pay an outrageous amount of money, then that's their problem, isn't it. They don't have to buy it. It's not like he's selling a can of creamed corn to the local begger.
ND4SPD_SS 11-26-2005, 11:16 AM i'll give you $20, a Napoleon Dynamite DVD, and a bag of sour skittles. is it a deal?

There is a difference between making profit, and ripping people off. Selling something that is worth 300 dollars and selling it for 2 thousand dollars is absolutely insane.
Um, there is also a big difference between producing things that are cheap, and selling them for more money. Don't you get it? These people are only buying these things TO make money. It's quite different from a business perspective, but a consumers? Not at all. There are limited quantities of this, and people are selling them for outrageous prices. Yes it may be the same "concept" but they are VERY different.
In that theory, all of thing things you buy is a business, which it's not. You obviously don't get it. Give you 5,000 grand for a TV, right. Do you understand the views I explained, at all? Does that mean giving free money away for thousands of dollars? Not really.
And do you know why someone even PAYS that much? Because they are FORCED to. You can't find these anywhere, and people are going to pay the outrageous prices to buy these things because these idiots KNOW that people will pay an arm and a leg. I'ts more of taking advantage of people, not free enterprise. If these people don't "need" it, simply don't buy it and ruin it for others.
Also in that theory of Kooks, I'll be sure to point out the next time you bitch at how expensive something is for your car.
Donohue96M6Z28 11-26-2005, 08:03 PM blind...
lets say he could sell it for $700 on ebay..
should he sell it for $300 bc thats how much he paid for it?
he likely stood in line for hrs. and why would anyone sell something cheaper when they are worth more.. supply and demand..
i would have done the same thing..
its an investment.. you buy them when they first come out and sell them for more on ebay.. why not?
he's not forcing anyone to buy it, if someone wants to pay $1000 on an xbox 360, thats their bad.
i guess everytime i buy something, a car, a part, anything.. i HAVE to sell it for cheaper than what i bought it for..or im ripping someone off.
IdahoLT1 11-26-2005, 08:54 PM i'll give you $20, a Napoleon Dynamite DVD, and a bag of sour skittles. is it a deal?
thats a pretty good deal. best one on this thread. I'd take it unless the skittles are already open then i would ask for a used can of motor oil, 5 3/8" bolts w/ washers and pencil thats been chewed on just a little bit.
Z95m6 11-26-2005, 11:04 PM Well i can understand selling them for more than they are worth new, but what bothers me is when people go and buy several just to resale them for a profit. If people wouldn't got to the store and buy up 5-10 to resale them then 5-10 more people would have opportunities to buy them at regular price. People should only be allowed one per customer.
v8pwrdz28 11-26-2005, 11:21 PM i know i saw at walmart people were limited to 1.
Compstall 11-26-2005, 11:23 PM Core systems are going for ~$500 right now on Ebay.
speedracer69 11-27-2005, 01:45 AM This is only going to last another week or so. Then all of this bull**** with the prices will be back to normal.

Not at all. I FULLy understand the concept of selling for profit :) This is the common misunderstanding of what I'm saying. Standing in line for 5 hours doesn't justify selling something that is selling for 400, for over 1,000. It's not making "some" money, it's making a crap load. The thing is, people are buying JUST to be profitable. I understand all this about selling for a profit very clearly. But there ARE other means of doing things for profits. If he had sold them for let's say 500, that in my book would be tolerable. If a system is 400 and he offered 500, that is def. fine. Anything more is just taking advantage of people. All these people you see selling them on Ebay for 800 dollars etc...just bought the console TO be profitable. How many consoles are on Ebay selling for that amount? What like 20,000? Maybe less, more?
microsoft is only making these things to make $$. yes i understand they are only buyign them to make $$. they are making an investment.
Oh yeah? Funny how the gaming industry works by them not making a profit. These systems are worth WAY more than 400 dollars. Microsoft is actually LOSING money off of the sales of the 360. They lose between 140-165 per EACH console sold.

you not making sence here.
Care to explain? In that theory, since I don't make sense...You not spelling right. You blalantly related to Kooks selling things for a profit, to consumers selling things for a profit. There is a HUGE difference. A company makes a product to sell to people interested in them, at REASONABLE prices.
People are paying 400 dollars for it because that is what it's WORTH *actually worth a ton more.* It's what MS sets the price at, does that mean the system is only worth 100 dollars? No. The system is worth, a ton.

I did the "You not spellin right" on purpose. I did it in response to this post: you not making sence here.
I meant to say blatantly, obvious error on my part :p
99323i 11-29-2005, 05:31 PM Its called an ivestment! Some of you people sound like the biggest idiots I've ever seen. Should someone who baught a 69 Camaro brand new sell it for what they paid? It is about supply and demand.
StreamlineZ28 11-30-2005, 12:02 AM Exactly my point.
You need to pay more attention in school, Supply and demand. I think in your train of thought you forgot to factor in the fact that people are willing not forced to pay that much. Nobody is forced to get one before eveyone else by paying way more then it is worth. If you dont agree with inflated worth then you arent gonna make in your line, cause that is how this world is. Just look at the stock market.
More power to the people who have the opprotunity to make a buck off of it.
Cmr0z28 11-30-2005, 01:50 AM I have about $14 in spare change...

:alert:
WHO CARES?!?! Your mad at the person selling them.... WHY? If someone said they would give you $1000 for the piece of gum in your pocket, you would say, "Um, no thanks... " Forget that. Be mad at the stupid people who PAY that much. If people tried to sell them for $1000 and no one bought them... the price would come down. Its the people with too much money that have to have everything first that you should blame.
I swear, some people. Im suprised you havent started blaming someone in office... shouldnt they control this stuff? OMG. SHUT UP! Wait a month or so and get it at regular price. Sheesh.
Until then be quiet, you sound like an idiot... better yet cut off your fingers. Then you wont need an Xbox or have to type anything this lame ever again.
enjoy your day.

Here is a simple solution:
If you don't like the price, DONT'T F**KING BUY IT!!!!!!!
codyzx7 12-02-2005, 01:50 PM So whats the deal?? Is the 360 still for sale?? How much you want for it??
codyzx7 12-04-2005, 01:54 PM guess it sold.............
RE AND CHERYL 12-05-2005, 03:26 PM He should have put it on Ebay 2 weeks ago like the 1st response seggested.
A buddy of mine who lives to sell on Ebay bought 6 of these the 1st day and put them on Ebay starting at 99cents. The prices they sold for varried but he made a total of $7800. Wish I'd thought of it.
6SpdLT1Z 12-05-2005, 03:56 PM $105 and a 2 liter of Mountain Dew Code Red with about 60% left.
LMK :)
