Q: How much power was your buddy making with this setup...
Nov-21-05
A: Depends on your set-up but on average you are probably looking at well over 500rwhp with the right supporting mods. Remember that's on 5lbs of boost. :bs:   :o

So you're going to let the seller misrepresent your items?

"well over 500 rwhp" and "close to 500 flywheel power" are two different things. An honest mistake is understandable, to not do anything about it is not.

I'm pretty sure anyone buying a system like that will find out first before spending money on it, that is an honest mistak, as long as you let them know but I"m sure they don't care.

Well I am very interested in the sts turbo kits..But a little disappointed in the results on the lt1's.( I mean hp and torque compared to the ls1's for same boost and kits) I have talked to several people now that are big into the kits and installing them.He told me that the ls1 kits are the only kits they are using now for both lt1's and ls1's. They work better on the lt1's. than the lt1 kits. He also said that the lt1's sounded better with the kits than the ls1's do.And that he has both ls1's and lt1's installed and that he really likes the lt1 and don't get hung up on the dynos..He said many think big but alot of people wind up staying with just 5 psi's and very happy with their cars.. My intensions is probably forced induction MAYBE this kit, and then going internal on my car.Maybe a 383.There's too many unbiased installations and even tv that has shown these kits to be pretty damn awesome for the f-bodies, not to make some horsepower. My goal is 450horses atleast with my next step to my car. $3000 to $4000 price range.
Also what clutch should I go with? this is a street car.. Have a too damn expense centerforce dual friction clutch that honestly hasn't shown me too much of nothing.. Been looking at the spec stage 3... Any comments on these clutches??

I have the Spec stage 3, and after the break in period, it rides like stock but grips like a mofo. At the 450 rwhp range, it'll work just fine. Just make sure you follow the break in instructions. It WILL chatter for a while, but it goes away if you break it in correctly.
