Search?

Does the search feature work for any body?
I get page cannot be displayed whenever I try to search for something.

I just tested it. Did you use the basic search up in the navbar, or the advanced search (the link in the Search navbar pulldown)? Both worked for me okay. Fill me in anyway.

Just used both the basic and the advanced search and they are working for me now.

Same thing still happens to me. When I try to search, I use advanced, and if you needed to know, I was searching the 3rd gen section.
It seems to be a hit or miss thing with me, more than 95% of the time being a miss.

Can you try a different computer?

I suppose, if I remember, I can try at my parents or on campus. I'm not running a firewall or anything either so I'm not sure what the problem would be (course, I would never know anyways, I suck at computers).

Okay, let me try to recreate the same problem.

Tell me step-by-step how you get to the error from the main forum page, and tell me exactly when the error happens and what the error is.

First, from the main page, I drop down the search bar and go to advanced search. Next, I enter "car cover" in the keyword box, select 3rd gen engine tech as my forum to search and hit the "search" button. It then will wait for about 10-20 seconds trying to get to the page then it'll give a standard "Page cannot be displayed" page.

Edit: Tried a user search with my name in both the 3rd gen and Lounge forums, and both worked fine. Not sure why using a keyword doesn't though. :confused:

Yeah it hasn't been working for me all weekend either. Different computers/locations
