When or how will my DNS be updated?

I'm still getting this message today:
The message board has moved to a new server. Your DNS probably hasn't updated yet if your still seeing this message. In order to access the new server until your DNS has been updated, please go to http://64.65.63.61/forums
I don't know what in the hell that all means, but I'm wondering if the DNS is something that I can expect to be ironed out without my input... ;)

Don't worry, I am still getting it too. It just takes time and all you have to do is wait.

The DNS basically points the domain name to an IP address. Since we switched servers, the IP address changed. It sometimes takes 24 hours or more for the info to change over and for the domain name to point to the new IP address. In some areas, it only takes a few minutes to an hour, in others a day or more.

My DNS is all good now.
