I just bought a 2002 SS Camaro w/20000 miles. It's a Utah car that I purchased from a local dealer as a GM Certified car.

Please share with me all you can about this beautiful car. It has:

T-tops, exterior is Red & Black, Black leather interior, BF Goodrich gforce tires(New). I was told by one of the Techs at the dealer that it is a WU8, y2y car? The next day they took in a ZL1 2002 SS built especially for the owner of Cashman Cadillac here in Las Vegas as trade for a new ZO6 Vette. The ZL1 Camaro was impressive to see.

Tell me why the exhaust pipe underneath the drivers side looks some flat instead of round? Doesn't seem conducive to flow efficiency?

Any info would be helpful!

Oooooh.......flattened exhaust pipe eh.....

Sounds like your car is broken.

Send it to me, along with some signed transfer papers and I'll see if I can fix it......I'll send it back if it can be fixed.

Promise.;)

OK! I peeked under a 1999 SS and his pipe looked the same with the passenger side being round? I am going to take it back to my Chevy dealer and find out.

Thanks,

Don't forget to wait up for me

Actually they do it best GM wrote up an article that Nascars use flat exhaust pipes which aparently flow better, so GM used that, but it does also help clearance. Aparently the oval design flows better then circular.

I can't wait till he discovers the hidden cache of contraband, that can be found on the passangerside floorboard in every 4th gen.. Yah can't miss it when you sit on the pass side.... ;)
