I have a suggestion for the search options page in the forums. I was looking for a certain member in my area, but couldn't find him because the member search isn't really refined enough to let me. I suggest that you be able to search members by things like state, year of car, first name, color of car, engine possibly, or anything like this.
I get the idea from 6gc.net where my girlfriend goes for information about her celica. You can search through the member list by color of car, year, body style, aerodynamic styles, and other modifications and many more features. It really makes it easy to find who you're looking for, as well as just get some ideas for your car if you need some. I really suggest to one of the mods that you make an account on 6gc.net just so you can see what I mean, it's really a great search feature that would be great on a site as large as this one.
They've also got a large database for all the manufacturers of aftermarket parts for their cars which is really nice as well. For example, for body kits, suspension parts and performance, they have a list of all the manufacturers as well as pictures of many of the items. In addition to the pictures, they have a feedback section for the members that have these parts installed on their cars. This would really take care of a lot of reposts about the same parts over and over again that take up a lot of space on the forums.
These are just some ideas that I think would make the site a little easier to use.
