Im going to yet another car show on Saturday and Im not sure how I want to show my car. Last time I had the hood up, windows down, t-tops off and since I just got an SS Hood I am going to show it with the hood down. Now, should I go with t-tops off and windows down, t-tops on and windows down, or t-tops on and windows up. Keep in mind, my car is black and my windows have illegal tint (black) on them. Any other tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

It depends on what you want ppl to look at more.... If you have a bit@h'in engine, but lack luster in the interior, then show more eng.... Now, if the interior is outstanding and the motor is ok, then go in the direction on the inside.... And if all is good, then show alittle of both, where one do not dominate the other.... Its all about the illusion, you wish to give.. JMO

they are gonna ask you to open you hood anyway so just open it

 

Try to get the hood put half up half down. I went to the super chevy show In Epping NH and there was an AMAZING Trans AM there that did that. He had it held up about a foot and a half. Not sure if youll be able to do that. He might have taken the things that hold the hood up out and he had a spring of some sort there to hold it up.

 

I have been to many shows, and shown many times in my day...best combo for your car (IMO) =:

Windows craked just about 1/2 way down,
T-Tops out,
Hood not fully open, but open enough to see in the engine bay without having to stick your head under there to see what is going on, but still low enough to see the SS hood.

But you want to show off your windows I'm sure, and you want to be able to see the interior, so you can't loose by taking the T-Tops out and still having the windows down a little. Plus, why would anyone really want to see the T-Top itself in there?

And doing the hood like that looks more aggressive to me...

That's how I would go.
