WTB Multi-Port 2.8 F-Body

I'm looking for a Multi-Port 2.8 Camaro or Firebird. My car's an '88, and I've had no luck in finding a replacement motor. Anybody out there got a wrecked car or something? Thanks.

a 3.4 out of a later model fbody is almost a direct swap, and much easier to find, similar to price, and has more hp.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I really want to keep it a 2.8.

don't know why you'd want to, but good luck. I replaced the 2.8 in my old firebird with a 3.4, and it was a night and day difference.

Just want to be different. Why else would I restore a junky '88 Camaro? lol

OK you've sparked my interest. I have an 87 Firebird 2.8 that has a tired motor. What extra work or changes did you do to make that work??
