Sam Strano 10-24-2005, 07:07 PM Rears are the same.... Front SLP's have more rebound damping, but less compression damping than HD's. Meant specifically for SLP's springs. Not best suited to stiffer and/or lower springs. Also due to the softer compression, not ideal for stock springs. The extra rebound is normally a good thing for stock spring, but teamed up with soft compression you end up with something that gets compressed to easily and held down too much. Rebound added without the softening of compression would be good. Also compression damping controls unsprung weight, and that's not lessened at all to allow for the lesser damping. MHO. | ||
