That is a hot car.

maybe its just me, but I don't like the front end, at all.

This is where art and science is going. I like it, it is as catching as the current CTS. If the interior is better than the current CTS they're going to have a run-away hit. The fog lamps look funky, but the article says they're not certain that they are production so we'll have to see.

I wonder what the v-series will look like, that is going to be hot.

The only thing I don't like about the current Caddies is the sharp edges, way too many edges IMO. A car is supposed to be curved and flowing, not sharp edges and boxes.

Sorry folks that is a BLS or Fusion chop.

I think it needs to be a little bit rounder to pull off the sixteen style front end. i dont know, it isnt what i was expecting..

That's not even close. The side profile is all wrong, everything is off including the rims. Also, the front facia is not smooth like on this chop. it's still a rugged car, with some soft touches were necessary unlike that chop.

Not the '08 CTS.

Me like!! :)

That's one of very few cars that I like the way they do the vertical headlamps.

I like it... very unique look. It actually looks like a more expensive car, from the front, than the higher end models in Caddy's lineup. Seeing what caddy has put out so far I'm not so sure I have high hopes for the interior, but I guess we'll see.:)

I like it but I don't think the CTS-V should get the LS7, to much power for that car.

I guess it should never be competitive with the new M5 then? Since that is what the last CTS-Vs were said to be designed to do.

Can anyone copy and paste the pic here. For some reason I don't get the image throught the link (something about too much bandwidth, also mentioned by someone over there). Thanks.

Well that was anticlimatic. Is NY the place it will be shown?

looks like the BLS with new headlighs and sixteen grill.

The next CTS comes out in fall 2006 as a 2007 right? is it now a 2008? I wonder how close this rendering is to the real car.

I like how GMI just steals there "exclusives" from a chopper on CSS:

http://www.carspyshots.net/zerothread?id=16150

And it is based on the BLS, this pic:

I seriously doubt this is anywhere near an accurate rendering.

The headlights are unprotected in the bumper. HID headlights aren't cheap.

Also don't believe the new car is larger. The STS is barely longer and wider. Is Cadillac going to have 2 cars the same size?

Bob Lutz also tried to smooth the CTS's design. I don't know if he succeeded or if the designers had their way (have to wait & see), but I think the Sixteen's grill is going to become a Cadillac standard across the board in coming years.

I think Mr. Lutz and the designers met halfway....and it's a bad ass meeting point!

I would hope that isn't it. Looks awfully pieced together. None of it really wants to flow with the rest of the car.

It's not really accurate...and it was not posted as a "exclusive" either....matter of fact, it is in the rumor mill. Someone sent it to the guy on my site who took it a bit to seriously and posted it with an article that was worded too strongly.

It is a nice photoshop though....
