Hey guys, I'm selling my '02 ZX-6R. It's the bike in my avatar and sig. There are tons of pics in the link, though I will have new pictures to show the small amount of damage to the bike. Here is the info on the bike.
2002 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R in Pearl Chrome Yellow, 9,050 miles
The bike has been in two small lowsides, both while I was riding(had never been down by first owner) and both times the bike had frame sliders on. One accident broke the left side frams slider off and the other broke off the right. The majority of the damage was done from the actual frame slider as it bent and cracked the fairing right around the mount hole. This can be fixed easily for about $250(I can recommend a very good guy that gives discounts for www.sportbike.net members, he will repair and paint the fairings back to 100% factory spec, including any stickers and decals). I can help you do this if you want. Besides the cracks there are a few small scratches as a aframe slider can't protect everything, but they're pretty minor. The only one that is noticable is a few scratches on the front right(as sitting on the bike) headlight, but I'm pretty sure they can be buffed out with plastic polish. The only other thing that got damaged was the gear shifter on the left side, which I just ended up putting a screw through it so I could shift it. It's covered in a rubber piece, so you can't even tell unless you examine it.
So that's about it, the bike is in perfect shape other than a few cosmetic blsmishes. It's never stuttered or missed a beat, the engine runs fantastic and the gears shift smoothly. This is a great bike and has plenty of power for a 600cc. The bike has never been raced or stunted and has always been garaged. I changed the oil at 2900 miles when I bought it, 6,000 miles and I will have the oil changed again before it's sold(9,000 miles). I will put a fresh coat of zaino(5th coat overall) on it this weekend, so the paint will be in superb condition.
I'd like to get $5,000 for it. I am open to reasonable offers. No, I will not take payments. No, I won't trade for another bike. Feel free to PM me with any questions you have. If you want to know why I'm selling it, I'm just done with Orlando idiot drivers.
